WIND PERCHES

About Me, and This Place

To be honest, as someone who is deeply introverted, I sat in front of my computer for a long time struggling with how to write this “About Us” page . According to the standard business playbook, I should probably package myself as some “Incense Master” or “Energy Expert,” but the truth is, I’m just an ordinary person .

I used to be just like you—an ordinary employee clocking in at 8:30 AM and often not finishing until midnight . In that endless cycle of overtime and soul-crushing office burnout, my body and mind completely broke down . After quitting, severe depression, insomnia, and anxiety followed . At my worst, I felt like a silkworm trapped in the silk I had spun myself—even reaching for a glass of water next to me felt like a monumental task .

Later, my doctor suggested medication, but when I saw those pills designed to provide “temporary happiness,” it felt hollow and fake . So I asked myself: “Why should I be controlled by this?”

I decided to head out . Gasping for air on a 5,000-meter mountain and staring blankly at the white expanse at 7,546 meters . Strangely enough, in those extreme environments, my mind finally went quiet, and I felt a sense of relief I hadn’t known in years . When I returned, I started exploring Daoism—the lifestyle philosophy, not the religion—trying to repair my messy energy field through the power of nature. Today, I can’t say I’m “cured” (I actually think being happy every single day is a kind of sickness), but I’ve learned how to coexist with my shadows .

WIND PERCHES was born from this journey . I see it as a “harbor”—a place to offer a glimmer of light to those who are also struggling mentally or emotionally .

Every stick of incense sold here is the “real deal” I’ve handpicked :

They come from the Himalayas, made of 100% natural plants, non-toxic, and non-habit forming.

They are crafted using a 1,300-year-old heritage technique .

I have two core series: HIMALAYAN LIGHT and PURIFICATION. Both series offer machine-pressed versions for your daily ritual, as well as fully handmade versions to reward yourself during those tougher moments.

I won’t shy away from talking about money; I do need this website to maintain my “physical existence” so I can keep going in this world . But I hope this place is more than just a cold storefront . If you have pressures or secrets that have nowhere to go, feel free to try the “Tree Hole” feature on the site. I’m willing to listen to your story from an Eastern perspective, or simply as someone who has “broken through the cocoon” before, and walk with you toward that faint, visible light .
